Class Updates 2018-2019

Literacy

In our literacy lessons, we have been reading Oliver and the Seawigs. We had great fun designing our very own Seawigs that we can wear on our heads. He are some that we made!

Hockey in P.E

In P.E this half term, we have been learning how to play hockey. Duncan and Sam from PH sports have really helped us with our passing, dribbling and defending. At the end of term, we all played a mini tournament and the green team won. We have had a fantastic time and Miss Williams has loved watching our hockey skills develop.

Red Nose Day!

On Friday 15th March 2019, we celebrated Red Nose Day. We dressed up in red and we wore our red noses. In the afternoon, we got together as a whole school and sung the official Red Nose Day song 'Put a Nose on it'. We had a great day raising money for a wonderful charity.

World book day!

On Thursday 7th March 2019, we had a fantastic time in 4W celebrating World Book Day. Lots of us came dressed as our favourite book characters and we all looked amazing. We made book marks, completed word searches and created drawings of our favourite characters. Just before lunch, we visited Year 1. We took our favourite books with us and we got to share them with another child. What a wonderful day!

Gymnastics!

In the Autumn term, we had a fantastic time learning all about gymnastics with Ms Stone. We learnt about different balances and ways to travel around the room. At the end of the half term, we each made short routines to apply everything we had learnt over the 7 weeks. We had a great time performing to each other.
