Special Educational Needs and Disabilities  (SEND)

At St. Johns Primary School we are committed to the equal inclusion of all pupils in all areas of primary school life. Every child is entitled to a broad and balanced education. We have an inclusive culture in our school and we are responsive to the diversity of children’s backgrounds, interests, experience, knowledge and skills. We recognise the diverse and individual needs of all of our pupils and take into account the additional support required by those children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The school SENCO is Ms Zoe Wood.  Her email address is zwood@stjohnswey.dsat.org.uk.

St John's has an ‘open door policy’, whereby parents can see Ms Wood on a weekly basis to share any concerns they have and in turn, she can offer or direct them to the necessary support, when applicable.

Her usual working days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  Telephone 01305 785711
