• West Dorset Dance Competition

  Congratulations to our Year 6 Dance Team who won the KS2 West Dorset Dance Competition at Budmouth! They danced their 'Plastic in the Ocean' dance beautifully and did us all proud!  Well done to you all.

  

• World Book Week

  What an amazing week filled with books and stories, encouraging a 'Love of Reading'.  Classroom doors were transformed into a book character or theme, ensuring that the children were transported into a world of reading. There were so many brilliant entries for our 'Story in a Jar' competition.  It was a difficult decision to choose a winner but, thankfully we managed to choose two!  One from both KS1 and KS2.  Congratulations goes to them, along with a £10 book token each, and a big Well Done to everyone who took part!

  World Book day started with a fantastic family Book Breakfast and it was wonderful to see families sharing a story with their breakfast rolls!  It was great to see all the children dressed as their favourite characters and visiting every classroom during the morning to be read a story by the teacher.

  

• Year 3 Football Festival

  Today some of our Year 3 children travelled to Budmouth Academy to take part in a Football Festival.  The children played really well.  We didn't win but we learnt new skills, had lots of fun and even brought home a medal each!
